Tough, packable windproof
Presumably named for the howling gales that it’ll protect you against, rather than the legendary Jamaican reggae band, the Wailer jacket from Picture Organic is a smock-style windproof in lightweight 100% recycled polyester. While it’s primarily designed to keep the wind from gnawing on your bones, it’s also coated with Teflon Ecoelite PFC-free durable water repellent treatment – so the occasional rain shower is no problem for the Wailer. Lightweight but sturdy, it’s got a half zipper on the front, while the hem and hood are both adjustable. The block colour design has a cool-looking, slightly retro feel to it, and the whole thing packs down into its own pocket so it’s easy to just sling in your pack when you’re heading out for the day
